Who we are

This policy explains how TaToSalsa Inc (“TaToSalsa,” “we,” or “us”), which operates TaToSalsa Dance Studio in Tampa, Florida, handles personal information collected through tatosalsa.com, our online registration, and our studio front desk.

Information we collect

When you register for classes. Your first and last name, email address, phone number, dance experience, how you found us, and any note you choose to add. If you register a partner, we collect their name and, if you provide them, their email address, phone number, and dance experience. Please share a partner’s information only with their permission. We also keep your class or package selection, prices, payment status, and a record that you accepted our class disclaimer, with the date and time.

When you pay by card. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number and security code go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our website. Stripe also collects your billing name and address. We receive confirmation of the payment, such as the amount and whether it succeeded.

At the studio. Our staff record payments made at the studio (amount, method, and date) and your class check-ins, so we can track the visits remaining on your classes or package.

Spam protection. Our registration form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm that a person, not an automated program, is registering. Cloudflare reviews technical signals from your browser and device for this purpose.

When you browse our website. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are visited, the type of device and browser, the general location based on an IP address, and the website that referred you. We send Google only the address of each page, without the extra details that can follow it in a web link. Google signals and advertising personalization are turned off.

When you contact us. Any information you choose to share by phone, email, text message, or social media.

Cookies

Our registration page uses a cookie that keeps your registration secure and lets you view your confirmation in the same browser. Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits, and pages with an embedded Google map may allow Google to set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although online registration needs its cookie to work.

How we use your information

• To process your registration and payments, and to send your confirmation and receipt.
• To track attendance and the visits remaining on your classes or package.
• To contact you at the email address and phone number you provide about your registration, classes, workshops, events, products, and offers.
• To understand how our website is used, so we can improve it.
• To protect our website and studio against fraud and misuse, and to meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

Email and text messages

You can ask us to stop promotional emails and text messages at any time by contacting us using the details below. Stopping promotional messages does not affect your registration, and we will still send messages about your registration and classes. If we text you, message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our studio:

• With service providers that work on our behalf, including Stripe (payments), Google (email and website analytics), Cloudflare (spam protection), and our website hosting provider.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our students, staff, and studio.
• If our business is sold or transferred, as part of that transaction.

How long we keep it

We keep registration, payment, and attendance records for as long as we need them to provide your classes and to meet our accounting, tax, and legal obligations.

Your choices

• Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it. Some records, such as payment records, may need to be kept for accounting and tax purposes.
• Ask us to stop promotional emails and text messages at any time.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Our website does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

Security

Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Registration and payment records are stored privately, outside the public website, and only authorized studio staff can sign in to view them. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Maps. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
